The property has a long history as a destination for vacationers dating back to the late 1800s. Today, visitors can choose to stay in one of the property’s log cabins, cottages, inn rooms, private homes with lake views, or the small motel.
There is even a “great camp” located three miles away in a secluded mountain setting. Camp guests have full use of Trout House amenities.
Guests appreciate all the activities available at Trout House, including access to canoes, kayaks, paddleboats and paddleboards for all the water sports. The resort boasts a 400’ sandy beach for swimming and sunbathing.

In the winter, guests staying in the log cabin chalets have access to kindling and firewood right outside their door. Downhill skiing, horseback riding, sleigh rides, snowmobiling and snow-tubing are all a short drive away. Be sure to book one of the cabins with a jetted tub to relax after enjoying all the winter sports and activities.
Families will find plenty to do and enjoy at Trout House Village at any time of year.
