Adirondack Health 5K Turkey Trot in Lake Placid on Thanksgiving Day
Come out for Adirondack Health’s 15th annual 5K race to benefit local charities.
Adirondack Health is hosting its 15th annual 5k Turkey Trot/Run on Thanksgiving morning at the Beach House on Lake Placid.
This fun, family-friendly event covers a flat 5k course around Mirror Lake. Start your Thanksgiving day with a healthy, invigorating 5K run/walk with the whole family. Turkey Trot organizers will award prizes to the first, second and third-place male and female finishers.
If you can "stuff the turkey" or, in other words, beat the mystery Turkey Runner to the finish line, you can receive bragging rights at your Thanksgiving table and a tasty award.
All registered participants will receive Adirondack Health’s newly designed Turkey Trot T-shirt.
All proceeds will benefit the local food pantries and Adirondack Health's Fit for Life Program. Race sponsors also ask all participants to bring three food items to donate.
