Dartbrook Rustic Goods
Bring the Great Camp style to your home from Dartbrook Rustic Goods.
I have to admit, sitting down to write about Dartbrook Rustic Goods sent me running to my dictionary because when I hear “rustic,” I think primitive, uncomfortable, and lacking indoor plumbing.
However, here’s what dictionary.com says:
Rustic /ˈrəstik/adjective
of, characteristic of, or living in the country; rural
having qualities ascribed to country life or people; simple; rustic pleasures
There is nothing crude or primitive about Dartbrook Rustic Goods. They offer a gorgeous assortment of home furnishings reminiscent of the Gilded Age Great Camp style that would elevate any ADK home.
Specializing in handcrafted rustic furniture, Dartbrook offers visitors a beautiful selection of pieces for every room in their home, all in the classic Adirondack style.
Dartbrook has a long history of working with clients to customize and personalize furnishings to meet their needs. They can do things as simple as altering the dimensions of one of their signature pieces or provide design assistance for a unique piece.
When you visit, don’t forget to go two doors down to Dartbrook South which offers more home decor, rugs, and accessories.
If they’d let us, we’d move into the store and live there, “From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler”-style, because we adore everything they have. But they’re not very keen on it. However, adjacent to their showroom is the Dartbrook Lodge, offering luxury cabins and cottages, all furnished in the Dartbrook style, which will have to do for now.
