It's embarrassing. There I was in Manhattan at a good friend's birthday party in the private dining room of a famous foodie hot spot, chatting away with soon-to-be new friends and sharing info about the nascent ADK Taste website, dropping bombs of knowledge about all the cool places to visit in the ADK.

I had never heard of it, to my shame and mortification. Let's just say I recovered well. And as soon as I could, I hustled my ass up to Lake Placid to check out this hot spot right under my nose.
