10th Annual Harry Elkes Ride
Celebrate the legacy of world-renowned cyclist and local ADKer Harry Elkes.
Glens Falls native Harry Elkes was a world-champion cyclist at the turn of the last century. The race, presented by Adirondack Cycling Advocates, honors Elkes’ legacy.
Register for the event and then meet up with other cyclists on Saturday, September 9, at The Hub in Brant Lake. Participants can choose a ride — 50-mile, 32-mile, 15-mile road ride or the exciting new 18-mile gravel ride — based on their level of ability and enjoyment. Ride with other bicyclists along scenic North Country roads and lakes.
After the ride, food and beverages are available for purchase at The Hub, where riders can relax, meet other cyclists, and watch a video of 1900s bicycle racing featuring world-class racer Harry Elkes.
