The Olympic Jumping Complex kicks off the 2025 Aerials World Cup.
The FIS Freestyle Aerials World Cup returns to the Olympic Jumping Complex in Lake Placid, NY, on January 18-19, 2025, marking its first appearance since 2019.
Spectators are in for an exhilarating experience as they witness one of winter's most thrilling sports events. Aerials showcase elite athletes performing breathtaking feats, soaring through the air with gravity-defying acrobatic flips, intricate spins, and dynamic twists.
Each athlete takes flight, and their movements are a captivating blend of strength and grace. Judging is meticulous, with scores awarded based on height, precision of form in the air, and finesse of landing, making each competition a true showcase of skill and artistry.
Lake Placid is one of only eight destinations for the 2024/25 FIS Aerials World Cup. The event will feature individual competitions for men and women and a mixed-team event across the globe.
Since 1985, Lake Placid has been a regular stop on the World Cup circuit, making it an event not to be missed. Come watch Olympic gold medalist Christopher Lillis and other members of Team USA, including Winter Vinecki, compete against some of the world’s best international athletes in Lake Placid.
