42nd Olympic Car Show in Lake Placid Labor Day Weekend

The Lake Placid Ski Club presents its annual Olympic Car Show at the Speed Skating Oval.

Vintage automobiles descent on Lake Placid on Labor Day Weekend for the Olympic Car Show.

The Lake Placid Ski Club presents the 42nd Annual Olympic Car Show at the Olympic Speed Skating Oval in Lake Placid, NY, beginning on Saturday, August 31, and continuing through Sunday, September 1, 2024.

Start the event off right with Cruise Night on Saturday, August 31.

Join the festivities for a Hot Dog BBQ, “Park and Meet,” from 6 pm to 9 pm at the Lake Placid Fire Department on Old Miltary Road.

From there, participants will cruise down Main Street and around the lake at approximately 8 pm.

This event is FREE to anyone with a car show registration.

Rev your engines for the Olympic Car Show’s main event on Sunday, September 1.

Rain or shine, the Olympic Car Show begins with check-in at the speed skating oval from 9:30 am to 11:30 am.

Once all the participants are in place, the official Olympic Car Show commences from noon until 4 pm.

At 4 pm, the awards will be announced for the following categories:

• Top 25 Plaque

• Top 3 Best of Show Cash and Trophy

• Top 3 Participant’s Choice Trophy

• Top 3 Spectator’s Choice Trophy

• Muffler Rap Plaque for:

• Big Block, Small Block & Tuner

• Club Participation Plaque
