Gore’s four peaks will be illuminated with colorful autumn foliage, providing prime leaf-peeping opportunities. While this time of year does get us excited for winter, there are plenty of activities to enjoy on the mountain before the snowmakers get to work. It’s the perfect day to welcome fall and get some fresh Adirondack air with numerous vendors, games, family activities, and live music!

Experience Scenic Skyrides, hiking, mountain biking, and disc golf. Choose your Skyride aboard the open-air Adirondack Express or the enclosed Northwoods Gondola. A short hike between the lifts offers the unique opportunity to experience both rides with the same ticket.

Take along one of the scavenger hunt game cards or participate in a fun hiking challenge. The last ride up on either lift is at 3:45 pm.

Local Adirondack craftspeople
The Harvest Fest craft show provides a slopeside shopping experience featuring numerous talented artisans spread across the base area. Browse handcrafted items such as original paintings and photography, furniture made of locally reclaimed wood, unique handmade jewelry, ceramics and pottery, all-natural bath and beauty essentials, primitives & Adirondack decor, NY-made wines and spirits, specialty food items, and more.

Vendors include:

  • One Good Turn — Wood bowls, vases, urns, spice mills, and bottle stoppers are all hand-turned on a lathe. Also offered are inlaid cutting boards.

  • Hint of the Adirondacks — Oli paintings and watercolors
