Run to Protect Lake George in Amy’s Adventure Race in Bolton Landing
The 7th Annual Amy’s Adventure Race covers a 4.5-mile trail to raise funds for the Lake George Land Conservancy.
Join the 7th Annual Amy’s Adventure Race for the Lake through Amy’s Park in Bolton Landing, which offers challenging and rugged terrain amidst ponds, marshes, and forests. Amy’s Park is one of Lake George Land Conservancy’s (LGLC) most popular preserves for both humans and non-humans alike, home to beavers, otters, turtles, and more.

The competition takes place on September 30th. Participant sign-in is from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m., and the race begins at 9 am. After the race, join event participants and community members at the Bolton Landing Brewing Company, where there will be a raffle, beer, and more.
All proceeds from the race and the raffle will go to the LGLC’s Indian Brook & Northwest Bay Conservation Initiative, an ongoing effort by the LGLC to conserve lands in a highly sensitive region of the Lake George Watershed.

The Amy's Park trail race spans 4.5 miles and encompasses a 700-foot elevation. The Moderate-rated course encircles the pond and marshland and includes diverse terrain, such as narrow stretches, steep inclinations, and bridge crossings. Runners must be attentive to rocks, leaves, roots, and other impediments along the course.
A virtual option is also available, so you can run the race at Amy’s Park or from wherever you want on September 30th, as long as it’s 4.5 miles.
