Up Yonda Farm in Bolton Landing
An environmental education center near Lake George is dedicated to helping visitors to appreciate the Adirondacks’ natural beauty.
Up Yonda Farm’s story is magical. The short version is that the farm was a gift from a Bolton Landing couple with roots in Staten Island and Ontario. After many years spent in Bolton, they donated their home and farm to Warren County to create an environmental education center.
Today, Up Yonda offers visitors a bevy of year-round activities designed to enhance their appreciation of the Adirondacks and the natural world. The complex includes 3+ miles of trails, a maple sugarhouse, sensory gardens, natural history museum, a butterfly garden, pond, and more.
Open year-round, Up Yonda offers programs, hikes, and classes to suit the season. Visitors can come to use the grounds for snow-shoeing in the winter or participate in guided hikes. There is always something to do at Up Yonda Farms.
Visit their website or Facebook page for information about current public programs. Up Yonda is also available for private groups and schools.
