Get ready for a day of pure maple magic at the 23rd Annual Maple in April Festival in charming Hadley, NY. This free, family-friendly celebration transforms Rockwell Street into a vibrant hub of Adirondack tradition and sweet adventures.
New York State produces approximately 760,150 gallons of pure maple syrup each year. The Adirondacks are responsible for producing 33% of NY’s output. Mama Bear grew up in the Catskills, another region of New York State that makes a lot of maple syrup.
Every spring, we would return to her hometown for the Maple Festival, a weekend-long celebration of all things maple, including the crowning of the Maple Queen. Not living there, I knew there was no chance I would ever wear that crown, but I still longed to be named Queen. Maybe that’s why I have a soft spot for maple syrup celebrations like the one in Hadley.

Meanwhile, adults can browse local craft vendors and food booths showcasing the region's finest artisans and flavors.
