Adirondack Marathon Distance Festival

Participate in the marathon, half-marathon or relays around Schroon Lake, and 5K and 10K in Chestertown.

The Adirondack Sports Council invites you to the Adirondack Marathon Distance Festival, an exciting weekend full of activities in Schroon Lake and the Gore Mountain Region of the Adirondacks on September 21 and 22, 2024.

Over two days, competitors will have the chance to participate in several races in Schroon Lake and in Chestertown. On Saturday, the Adirondack Sports Council will hold a 5K & 10K in Chestertown and a Kids Fun Run in Schroon Lake for the Lil’ ADKers.

The main events, the Marathon, Half Marathon, and the 2 & 4 Person Relays will take place around the picturesque 9-mile-long Schroon Lake on Sunday, September 22, 2024.

After the race on Sunday, head to the finish area and enjoy some refreshing drinks from Paradox Brewery to celebrate your fantastic achievement.
