GEM Radio Theatre: An Adirondack Christmas Carol
Tannery Pond Community Center in North Creek presents an original take on a holiday classic.
Fictional radio station WADK is returning to Tannery Pond to stage a live-action radio play. The story revolves around a man named Bowser, who is a curmudgeon living alone on a farm in North River.
Circumstances have led Bowser to spend a lonely Christmas Eve, where his unpleasant character will be revealed to him through a series of visits by Adirondack Spirits, whose names might be familiar to you.
Will Bowser find redemption, or will his solitary and grumpy lifestyle lead him to an early grave?
A handful of local actors will voice different characters to bring the tale to life. Jason Dora returns as the Foley Artist, creating sound effects live onstage. Performances will be held:
Saturday, November 25 at 7 PM
Sunday, November 26 at 2 PM
Tickets: $15 in advance, $20 the Day of Concert, FREE for Youth 18 and younger.
Purchase tickets online or visit the TPC box office. Some "Day of Event" tickets are reserved for purchase at the box office.
