We’ve been on a weather rollercoaster in the Adirondacks. After a warm up earlier this week and spring-like snow, many places report a return to winter weather for the weekend.

Several ski and winter sports destinations report receiving 3-5” of snow on Thursday, with more expected on Friday night and colder temperatures next week.

On Sunday, brace yourselves as the chill returns, but that could bring along some fluffy surprises in some areas. And it’s also worth reminding you that the Adirondack Park is 6 million acres, that’s bigger than the State of NJ, so conditions will vary across the region.

Check out our at-a-glance guide to the current conditions as of Friday, February 28.

Please note that some winter sports venues limit the number of guests each day. Be sure to check ticket availability before heading to the mountain, especially during peak holiday times.
