Strawberry Shortcake and More at Raquette Lake in the Adirondacks

Visit the birthplace of the Adirondack Great Camps for a summer strawberry festival.

Strawberry shortcake, a classic Adirondack summer treat.

Everyone’s favorite summer treat, strawberry shortcake, is the highlight of Raquette Lake’s Strawberry Festival in the Adirondacks.

Enjoy delicious strawberry shortcake, get free information on area events, and reconnect with summer friends at the Raquette Lake's Fire Hall on Saturday, June 29, from 11 am - until sold out.

The Raquette Lake Ladies Auxiliary hosts the strawberry festival. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Raquette Lake Fire Department.

Birthplace of the Adirondack Great Camp, the Gilded Age playgrounds of America’s titans of business and industry.

Raquette Lake is one of the crown jewels of the Adirondack Park. It is the largest natural lake in the Adirondacks, with just over 100 miles of picturesque, pine-covered shoreline. Built on a point on the southwestern bay of the lake, the Hamlet of Raquette Lake is a delightful little village filled with old-world, small-town charm.

What better reason to visit this historic and scenic area than the allure of fresh strawberry shortcake?
