Hoss’s Country Corner, Long Lake
A great place to get the things you need, and find things you never knew you needed.
In the ADK, there are several places that we could honestly say if they don’t sell it, you don’t need it. Hoss’s in Long Lake is one of those places.
First and foremost, they’ve got you covered on the basics:
Ice? Check.
Beer? Check -- Hoss’s has a wide variety of local and outstanding national/global varieties. Plus ciders.
Socks? Check. Foot coverings for all essential needs.
Groceries, specialty meats and cheeses, candy? Check. Check. Check.
Novels and Adirondack books? Check. You can’t count on WiFi when you’re camping in the high peaks. Better make sure you’re prepared with some old-school entertainment.
Loons, Moose, Bears, and other animal ephemera? Check, check, check, check.
