Indian Lake’s popular Snocade returns during President's Week 2025. During this week, visitors can enjoy free indoor and outdoor activities, dining specials, special events, and more.

From Saturday, February 15 to the 22nd, Snocade 2025 will offer a wide variety of indoor and outdoor recreation opportunities, family-friendly activities, food and drink specials, and more.

Events throughout the week include:

• Guided hikes

• Book sale at Indian Lake Library

• Food and drink specials at numerous local restaurants and taverns; town-wide bake sale

• Craft workshops — Ice Lantern Workshop, Wool and Water fiber arts demonstration, Luminaria-making, make a crystal-effect lantern and more.

• Gem Radio Theatre “Sherlock Holmes: The Night Before Christmas” on February 15 at Indian Lake Theatre

Sunday, February 16

• Kitty Cat Snowmobile event Sunday, February 16

• Family Feud at the Indian Lake Theater on Sunday, February 16

Monday, February 17

• Cold Water Rescue Demonstration on Monday, February 17

• Learn to Skate on Monday, February 17 at 5 pm at the Indian Lake Ski Hut

• Dog Sled rides on Tuesday, February 18, from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm

Snowmobile enthusiasts converge in Indian Lake for Snocade.

Wednesday, February 19

• Day-long NYS Snowmobile Safety Course 8 am to 4 pm

• Utica Zoo Mobile 10 am to Noon

• Light Up the Library at 5 pm — Bring your luminaries to showcase this community institution. S’mores, cider, stories, crafts, trivia, fun and games will be on offer

Thursday, February 20

• Kids’ Cup of Kindness at the Library — a unique program with cocoa, tea, and kid-friendly snacks around the story time area. 10:30 to 11:30 am

• Cardboard Sled Building Workshop — All ages are welcome to this free workshop from 4 to 6 pm. Participants can use free materials and assistance to help them compete in the races on 2/22

• Indian Lake Theatre presents the Hollywood Blockbuster “Wicked” at 7 pm

Friday, February 21

• Horse-drawn Wagon Rides with A Time to Remember at Town Hall. 11 am to 2 pm

• Indian Lake Theatre presents the Hollywood Blockbuster “Wicked” at 7 pm

Saturday, February 22

• Indian Lake Chamber of Commerce Snocade Craft Fair 10 am to 4 pm

• Cardboard Sled Races 3 to 4 pm

• Snocade Grand Finale event with live music, bonfire, ice skating, hot cocoa bar, and s’mores from 4 to 7 pm

• Fireworks! 6:30 pm at Ski Hut Road
