Ski history in North Creek.
Over 90 years ago, “Snow Trains” began arriving in North Creek, bringing hundreds of skiers to the area. When skiers got off the Snow Train, they would ride in the back of a truck to the top of what would become the North Creek Ski Bowl and Gore Mountain. The practice, known as "Ride Up, Slide Down," would become the region's slogan.
One of the first ski patrols in the U.S. was established in North Creek due to the Snow Trains.
Gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday, from 10 am to 4 pm, Saturdays from Noon to 4 pm. Additional hours may be available by appointment.
