Martha’s Dandee Creme Reopens March 15, 2025
The big day is almost here! Martha’s Dandee Creme and Grill are opening soon. Summer can’t be far behind.
It’s that time of year when we look for signs of spring, knowing that means summer will also be here soon.
Some people chart the slow rise in temperatures or the diminishing inches of snow on their deck or yards. Other people listen for buzzing bees, birds singing or the first calls of loons returning to the lake.
We, however, watch and wait for Martha’s Dandee Creme in Queensbury, just south of Lake George Village, to announce that they are opening.
An Adirondack institution for over 75 years.
Martha’s serves delicious, fresh, homemade soft-serve ice cream in a variety of flavors.
They make their ice cream fresh every day, and the menu constantly changes to feature both traditional and innovative flavors.
Everybody loves Martha’s.
With options like blueberry, salted caramel, raspberry chocolate twist, peach, peanut butter, maple walnut, coconut, coffee, marble cake, and pistachio, you'll never get bored.
They reportedly rotate through more than 35 homemade flavors regularly. If that’s not enough, you can also choose from seven dipping flavors for your cone and nine varieties of sprinkles. Additionally, you can purchase an ice cream cake to take home with you.
Martha’s Grill offers hamburgers, chicken tenders (the location was once a chicken farm), and their menu of loaded fries. Loaded fries are a meal unto themselves; they are french fries topped with classic poutine, zesty garlic shrimp, BBQ pulled pork, Mike’s Hot Honey Chicken, Philly Steak and more.
