Support the Kemp Animal Sanctuary
Nettle Meadow’s Hitching Post Tavern hosts a benefit for a Southern Adirondack animal sanctuary.
One of our favorite cheese makers in the Adirondacks is Nettle Meadow Farm. During our initial visit to their farm in Thurman, NY, we were delighted to learn that Nettle Meadow not only produces scrumptious cheese products using humanely raised animals but also hosts a sanctuary for a variety of species known as The Kemp Sanctuary, which is part of their property.
On Sunday, May 5, they are hosting a benefit at The Hitching Post (Nettle Meadow’s retail store and fantastic restaurant) in Lake Luzerne to raise funds for the Kemp Sanctuary. Tickets are $25 per person and include admission and:
Delicious food
Live music
Silent auction and raffles
An opportunity to meet some of the Kemp Sanctuary’s furry friends
For more information about the event, visit Nettle Meadow’s Facebook page. If you can’t attend in person, please consider donating online.
