Charcuterie Workshop Hosted by Nettle Meadow at the Hitching Post in Lake Luzerne
Learn from the experts: the Adirondacks’ international-award-winning cheese-makers offer a class on creating an incredible charcuterie board.
The Nettle Meadow team hosts another workshop on making an irresistible charcuterie board. Learn from cheese whiz (sorry, but we are suckers for puns…especially cheesy ones), Sheila Flanagan, the owner and "Big Cheese" at Nettle Meadow. Sheila will provide a quick lesson on how cheese is made, expert insight on pairing cheeses, and insider tips on how to build a charcuterie board that will wow your friends and family.
The team at Nettle Meadow will provide all the essential supplies for your board. While you create your chef-d'oeuvre, enjoy a complimentary signature winterberry mimosa and snack on a bountiful grazing table (to ensure you don’t eat up your charcuterie masterwork before you finish the class).
At the end of the event, you'll leave with a beautiful creation, including the wooden charcuterie board and cheese knife, many ideas and tips for creating charcuterie boards and maybe having made a few new friends.
This is an excellent way to learn about the art and craft of cheese pairing in a fun and relaxed environment.
The cost is $65 per person, and registration is required. Call 518.696.6184 to secure your spot. Visit their Facebook event page for more information.
