When we went to summer camp when we were kids, one of the most exciting times was when the camp store opened – you could get a soda, stamps, bug repellent, a t-shirt, a postcard, an ice cream sandwich or other treats. The excitement level was on par with when you heard Mr. Softee’s jangly bells coming down your street at home.

We’re not kids anymore, but we get excited to visit CampStore on Lake Pleasant in the Adirondacks.
