Experience the greatest vertical drop east of the Rockies at NY’s Whiteface Mountain

It’s shaping up to be another super weekend of skiing in the Adirondacks. Many of our fantastic winter sports areas received at least 10” of fresh snow, with more expected on Sunday.

The temperatures have remained in the teens and 20s, creating ideal conditions for making snow to enrich what Mother Nature has provided.

New York State's largest ski resort, Gore Mountain, in the Adirondacks

Gore got another nice dump of snow this week, and almost 90% of all trails are open, as well as glade skiing. Visit Gore’s website for current details.

 

Whiteface reports 26” of fresh snow this week, and almost the entire mountain is open and more snow is on the way. Visit Whiteface’s website for the latest conditions.

 

Snow Ridge received 9” since Sunday for a total of 165” for the season. It should be a super weekend for skiing. Check their website for the latest conditions.

 

West Mountain will have 27 of its 35 trails open and offers tubing and night skiing. Visit West’s website for the latest info on ski conditions.

Titus Mountain, Malone, NY

Titus received 13” of new snow since last Sunday. With 53 of 53 trails open, it will be a fantastic weekend at Titus. Visit their website for the latest snow report.

Oak Mountain Ski Center near Speculator in New York's Adirondack Park.

Oak Mountain Ski Area has 22 of 22 trails open, with 5” of new snow in the last 24 hours and more coming this weekend. Visit Oak’s website for current trail conditions.

McCauley garnered 10” of new snow this week and has 100% of its terrain open, just in time to host events for Old Forge’s Winter Carnival this weekend. Visit their website for their latest snow report.
