Winter Bird Hike at Newcomb’s Adirondack Interpretive Center

Winter birds in the Adirondacks include goldfinches.

Goldfinches are common to the Adirondacks in winter.

Join guest birder Miok Salz at the Adirondack Interpretive Center (AIC) in Newcomb for a Winter bird hike or snowshoe.

Miok will start the morning by helping participants identify which species of our abundant winter finches are visiting the AIC feeders. An easy hike or snowshoe on the trails will follow this presentation to look for more birds.

AIC will provide snowshoes and microspikes, but pre-registration is required.

Register by emailing shample@esf.edu or register online.
