Round out your 4th of July festivities with the Willard Hanmer Guideboat and Canoe Race. You can race or simply spectate this exciting, classic Adirondack race. Don’t miss this chance to see some fascinating authentic Adirondack Guideboats.
The Hanmer starts at Riverfront Park in Saranac Lake, NY. This year’s race will follow the traditional course on Lake Flower, with certain classes carrying to the river. After a 300+ yard carry, it will continue down the river to Saranac Lake Fish & Game Club.
The Hanmer is perfect for beginners and veterans.
Enjoy the festive environment at the Saranac Lake Fish & Game Club finish line, with refreshments, family-friendly events, vendors and live music.
