NorthWind Fine Arts in the Adirondacks

Vibrant artist collaborative in Saranac Lake.

Located on Main Street in the center of Saranac Lake, NorthWind Fine Arts is a cooperative gallery of artists living and working in the Adirondacks. Close to the historic Hotel Saranac, shopping, restaurants and other local businesses, make NorthWind a stop on your itinerary in this part of the ADK.

The gallery provides local artists a space for displaying beautiful artwork across multiple mediums, including painting, photography, ceramics, wood carving, sculpture, jewelry, and more.

The gallery, open since 2011, accepts artists who are willing to support its success. NorthWind features a different artist or group exhibit monthly, with an opening reception open to the public for free on the first Friday of every month. They welcome art lovers, the art-curious, families, and anyone else who is so inclined to visit.

It's impressive to stop in and see the incredible talent of artists living and working in the Adirondacks. Usually, one of the member artists attends the gallery daily, offering a unique opportunity to meet one of the people behind the art.

NorthWind holds juried shows throughout the year. Their hours vary by season, so be sure to consult their website for current hours. We think this is one of the best ways to bring a piece of the Adirondacks home with you. They also offer E-gift cards, a great gift idea for your ADK hosts.
