SAM Fest at Paul Smith’s VIC
The annual Science, Art, & Music Festival returns.
Visit Paul Smith’s College Visitor Interpretive Center (VIC) for SAM Fest 2024, a free Science, Art and Music Festival on Saturday, April 13. This year’s theme is Earth Canvas: Art & Climate Change.
A day full of live music, art shows, science presentations, fun and games.

New to this year’s festival will be an art show featuring an array of inspiring pieces on display and for sale. Enjoy live performances and presentations, and interact with artists, scientists, poets, musicians, and more.
Special guests Martha Foley Smith and Suzanne Rancourt.
Martha Foley Smith, retired North Country Public Radio (NCPR) News Director, serves as emcee for the day’s events. She’s been a familiar voice as morning co-host and for partnering with Dr. Curt Stager on weekly conversations exploring questions about the natural world.
Joining Martha is guest presenter Suzanne S. Rancourt, a poet and author with a diverse cultural background of Abenaki, Huron, Quebecois, and Scottish descent. She is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Army.
