Lake George loves Oktoberfest so much that they celebrate it twice! Adirondack Brewery’s 18th Annual Oktoberfest and Charity Block Party is scheduled for October 19, 2024, the weekend after the Lake George Village hosts their three-day Oktoberfest (where Adirondack Brewery also hosts a beer garden) on October 11 through 13. That’s a lot of stein hoisting in a ten-day time period. We are ready for it.

Adirondack Brewery hosts their annual Oktoberfest at their pub and brewery at 33 Canada Street, just south of the village center and across from Charles R. Wood Park. They will have a traditional Bavarian Biergarten, classic German cuisine, live music and dancing, a costume contest, keg tossing, cornhole, and more, all against the backdrop of spectacular Adirondack fall foliage.

In addition to serving their great beer, they will host fellow New York State breweries and local wine and cider producers. Current guests include Chatham Brewing, Bolton Landing Brewing, Artisanal Brew Works, Adirondack Winery, Northway Brewing Co., Slate Town Brewing Company, Common Roots, and Battle Hill Brewing.

You must have a ticket to attend. Purchase online or at the door. Each ticket entitles its holder to:

• A commemorative Oktoberfest branded 5 oz. sampler stein

• Unlimited sampling of Adirondack Brewery beer & cider, New York State guest breweries beer, local wine and cider

• One complimentary Food Voucher ($15 value)

• Entry into the many games and contests held throughout the day (win valuable prizes)

There is a reduced-price ticket for Designated Drivers, too.

Adirondack Brewery strongly urges and highly recommends attending Oktoberfest with a Designated Driver (DD) or planning safe travel home ahead of time.

Uber and local Taxi Cab companies are available in Lake George.

Please note that this is a 21+ event, and valid ID is required, so don’t count on bringing your 17-year-old kid who just got their driver’s license along as your DD (although, technically, they could drop you off and pick you up later).

The Ben Osborn Fund. The Benjamin D. Osborn Memorial Fund, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting youth in need.

The fund was established in loving memory of CPL Osborn, who was killed in Afghanistan on June 15, 2010, while serving in the United States Army during Operation Enduring Freedom.

The Ben Osborn Fund’s primary goal is to assist children aged 5 through 18 by providing critical items such as school supplies, tutoring services, winter clothing, electronics, musical instruments and classes, eyeglasses, and more. The fund aims to continue Ben's positive impact by helping those in need.
