Fort Ticonderoga will honor the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives in service to their country during the American Revolution.
Visitors can participate in a two-day event that showcases the story of the American Army in 1777 and its preparation to defend liberty at Ticonderoga. The itinerary features various living history programs and demonstrations throughout Memorial Day weekend on Saturday and Sunday, May 25th and 26th in 2024.

Step back in time and witness the dedication and skill of the Continental Army soldiers as they bring the story of liberty to life. Discover the intricacies of military drills and the forgotten trades of the past. Enjoy narrated scenic boat tours aboard the Carillon and cruise along the same shores of Lake Champlain that American soldiers and sailors sailed in 1777.
Enjoy a range of activities designed to bring US history to life.
A full lineup of activities and programs will be available for visitors to enjoy throughout the weekend. These include daily tours of the fort, King's Garden, and museum exhibition spaces, historic trades programs, ongoing living history programs, and thrilling weapons demonstrations. Visitors can also experience the Mount Defiance viewpoint and hike along the Carillon Battlefield trail.
A special commemorative ceremony will take place on Sunday, May 26.
