Lake George’s Jazz Weekend.
The Lake George Arts Project presents the 40th year of Jazz at the Lake, a premier jazz festival.
Celebrating its 40th year, Jazz at the Lake is one of the most prominent jazz festivals in the Northeast. Nestled against the picturesque backdrop of Lake George, this event, also known as Lake George Jazz Weekend, showcases the dynamic and diverse jazz genre and draws together talented musicians from across the nation.
Since its establishment in 1984, Jazz at the Lake has become a wildly popular and critically acclaimed gathering. The event occurs just after the peak summer season and welcomes 5,000 and 7,000 attendees to the Lake George region, earning the reputation as Lake George's most prominent free cultural event.
The festival presents almost 20 performances (if not more) in a diverse spectrum of jazz styles. Signature performances are held on the stage in Shepard Park in Lake George Village, while others take place at partner locations throughout the Town and Village.
