Nettle Meadow Charcuterie Workshop at the Hitching Post in Lake Luzerne
Learn to create an incredible charcuterie board from the Adirondacks’ international-award-winning cheese-makers.
Join the Nettle Meadow team for a fun and educational night out where you'll learn how to build a charcuterie board. You'll have the opportunity to meet Sheila Flanagan, the owner and "Big Cheese" at Nettle Meadow, who will share insights about their renowned cheeses and how they are made. You'll also discover which cheese pairs best with which accompaniments and how to create the perfect charcuterie board.
All the necessary supplies for your board will be provided. While you create your masterpiece, enjoy their signature winterberry mimosa and a bountiful grazing table (to ensure you don’t eat up your charcuterie masterwork before you finish). At the end of the night, you'll take home your beautiful creation, including the wooden charcuterie board and cheese knife.
This is an excellent way to learn about the art and craft of cheese pairing in a fun and relaxed environment.
The cost is $65 per person, and registration is required. Call 518.696.6184 to secure your spot. Visit their Facebook event page for more information.
