Gore Mt. Hosts U.S. Ski and Snowboard Holeshot Cross Tour
US Ski and Snowboard Holeshot Cross Tour at Gore Mountain.
The Holeshot Cross Tour is a skier/boarder cross-competition sanctioned through U.S. Ski and Snowboard. They designed Holeshot to bridge the gap between grassroots events and the World Cup level for those looking to take the next step in their careers on the snow.
Holeshot Cross Tour competition comes to the Adirondacks.
Competitors will earn points towards qualification for future FIS NorAm and international events.
U.S. Ski and Snowboard and FIS sanction the Holeshot Tour events and follow FIS rules and formats. Athletes 15 (SBX), 16 (SX), and older compete in an open-class event. (SB birt year 2009) (SX birth year 2008)
The Holeshot Cross Tour will occur at Gore on Wild Air, Pot Luck, and The Arena. These trails will be open for competition only. Guests are encouraged to watch from the base area and cheer on these up-and-coming athletes.
