Celebrate the Solar Eclipse with the Adirondack Sky Center
Tupper Lake’s acclaimed observatory is the place to be during the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse.
Tupper Lake, NY, in the Tri-Lakes & High Peaks region of New York State’s majestic Adirondack Park, is also at the heart of totality for the April 8 Total Solar Eclipse.
The 2024 Total Solar Eclipse crosses North America from Texas to Vermont, and Northern New York State is in its path. The Adirondack Park, with its 6 million acres, makes up a large swath of the eclipse’s trajectory.
Eclipse 2024 Headquarters.
With a land area bigger than the states of Connecticut, Massachusetts or New Jersey, the Adirondacks will be "Eclipse Central" during this 2024 celestial event.
Its headquarters is the Sky Center in Tupper Lake, offering a festival-like atmosphere for those eager to immerse themselves in the eclipse experience.
The Adirondack Sky Center and Observatory is the Adirondacks’ sole public astronomy-based organization. It’s also one of only a few observatories on the “Path of Totality” in North America, making it an exceptional destination for any eclipse adventurer.
