Upstate NY fan favorite NYMBIS appears at The Tannery at Gore Mountain.
NYMBIS is a four—to five-piece band with two full-length albums (Nymbis and Moon Moth) and a third album in the works. Their growing catalog has a sonic range and depth of character that is not easily defined.
Spearheaded by Chuck Valentine (School Bus Yellow), NYMBIS unfolds as a genre-bending by-product of 80s pop, classic rock, Irish folk, soul, grunge and jam music. WEXT Radio (97.7 and 106.1 WEXT is the Capital District’s listener-supported roots and rock radio station) has featured songs from each album release.
The band’s high-energy live shows display unique original material mixed with an array of fun covers that are all over the map.
