Cascade Welcome Center Greets Adirondack Tour de Ski
The Tour de Ski makes another stop in Lake Placid in 2024.
On Sunday, February 25, 2024, the Adirondack Tour de Ski will return to Lake Placid at the Cascade Welcome Center as part of this multi-venue Nordic ski event.
All races will be in the Classic Technique. Bib pickup inside the lodge (Great Room) at 10 AM. A waxing room is available in the pole barn near the start. Self-feed area in the stadium for 15k racers (beginning of the second lap). The race course is NOT CLOSED; recreational skiing is allowed but only in the same direction as racers, and recreational skiers MUST YIELD to racers. The race fee allows participants to use trails for the remainder of the race day.
The Tour de Ski is an exciting ski race series in the spectacular Adirondack Mountains. It comprises races at six venues, with multiple distances, and takes place from now through March 2024.
