Adirondack Film hosts its annual festival in the fabled Olympic Village in Lake Placid, October 26-29, 2023.
The Lake Placid Film Festival is a noteworthy four-day occasion that honors inventive full-length movies, award-winning abbreviated movies, independent TV programs, and inspirational documentaries, all held in Lake Placid.
The festival will display the most recent independent films worth watching, including recent releases like The Stones and Brian Jones, a new documentary from Director Nick Broomfield that uncovers the true story and legacy of Brian Jones, founder and lost creative genius of The Rolling Stones.
Other films include The Old Oak, The Feeling that the Time for Doing Something Has Passed, Humanity Stoked, The Teachers Lounge, and La Syndicaliste. Additionally, the festival will showcase Upstate Reels, highlighting artwork created in the Adirondacks and offering insight into the creative process and final products.
