Nettle Meadow Farm and Animal Sanctuary is truly a special place. The owners of the farm believe that happy and healthy animals make for tastier cheeses. And we think they are on to something.
The farm is home to well over 130 farm sanctuary animals and a cheese company producing award-winning, hand-crafted, artisan goat and cow milk cheeses.
Nettle Meadow also has a retail location and tasting room, right off of Exit 21 of the NYS Northway, at the historic Hitching Post, making it uber-convenient to purchase their products, as well as hand-selected items to complement your purchases.
And while you can find Nettle Meadow products in stores all over the ADK, a trip to the farm to visit the critters is a fun adventure for the whole family. You can purchase cheese at their on-site store at the farm, too.
