Whiteface Mountain Ski Resort in the Adirondack Mountains in New York State.

The report from Whiteface is that the conditions for this weekend are excellent. Whiteface is famous for many things, including the greatest vertical drop east of the Rockies. Visit their website for the latest trail conditions.

New York State ski resort West Mountain in the Southern Adirondacks

West Mt. is reporting 25 trails open with machine-packed-powder conditions. Visit the West Mt. website for the latest snow and ski conditions.

Titus Mountain, Malone, NY

Titus Mountain, home of the slopeside Skibana, received an impressive 9” of new snow over the last five days, with the possibility of more snow overnight. Visit Titus Mt.’s website for the latest trail conditions.

New York state ski area, Hickory HIll, in the Adirondack Park

Hickory is one of a few old-school ski areas that “keep it real” with natural snow conditions, OG lifts, and steep terrain; it’s often compared to the legendary Mad River Glen. Hickory reports that the snow is holding up well for this weekend.

McCauley Mountain ski area in Old Forge, NY, reports 9” of new snow over the past 5 days with primarily machine-groomed and packed-powder surfaces. Over 80% of their trails are open. Visit McCauley’s website for the latest conditions.
