Across the Adirondacks, we’ve been fortunate to receive enough snow this year for most of our favorite ski resorts to open for the season. As we did last winter, we’ve put together a handy

The winter sports season is off to a great start at Gore. They’ve received close to 20” of natural snow, and with the cold weather we’ve been having, they’ve been making snow almost non-stop. Visit Gore’s website for the most current details on conditions at New York’s largest ski resort.

New York State ski resort West Mountain in the Southern Adirondacks

West Mt. reports six of 25 trails open with machine-groomed and packed-powder conditions. Visit the West Mt. website for the latest snow and ski conditions.

NY State Ski area Snow Ridge in the Adirondack Mountains in Turin, NY.

Snow Ridge is ideally located on New York’s snow magnet, the Tug Hill Plateau. They report they received 18” of snow in the past 24 hours and 56” so far this season. They will be open this weekend. For the latest conditions, visit Snow Ridge’s website.
