Captain Kirk Returns to the Adirondacks
William Shatner, Star Trek’s OG Captain Kirk is back in Ticonderoga for a weekend of all things Star Trek.
The Star Trek Original Series Set Tour in Ticonderoga will once again host the OG Captain Kirk from July 12, 13, and 14, 2024. If you’re not familiar with the Star Trek Set Tour, an enterprising super fan of the series managed to acquire the plans for the original Star Trek TV sets and rebuilt them in a former grocery store in downtown Ticonderoga, NY, and the rest is history.
The Star Trek Original Set Tour offers fans a unique and immersive experience by recreating the iconic sets of the original Star Trek series. Located in a small town with a big passion for science fiction, this tour provides a glimpse into the world of Captain James T. Kirk, Mr. Spock, and the rest of the USS Enterprise crew.
The Set Tour hosts numerous events throughout the year featuring Star Trek luminaries past and present. These occasions feature a variety of talks and photo opportunities, along with a VIP dinner.
Tickets to the event are always popular and tend to sell out. There are various packages to choose from depending on how close you want to get to the Captain. The Admiral’s All-Inclusive Package is the top ticket at $1,500. With it, the ticket holder receives the following:
