Saranac Lake in the Adirondacks Celebrates Halloween with Ghoulish Good Fun.
Trick-or-treating downtown, a costume contest for Lil’ ADKers and a Halloween Party at the Adirondack Carousel are just a few of the activities planned for October 31, 2023.
Visit downtown Saranac Lake on Halloween for frightfully festive Halloween fun. This annual event brings the whole community together, and visitors are welcome to attend.
Local businesses invite Halloweeners to stop in between 2:30 and 5 pm for trick-or-treating. Main Street and Broadway will be closed off to vehicle traffic so pedestrians can walk freely during this annual trick-or-treating event.
Stop by the Adirondack Daily Enterprise offices at 54 Broadway between 9 am and 5 pm to get your L'il ADKers' picture taken for the annual Costume Contest. Goblins aged one month to 12 can participate in the contest, and the Enterprise will award 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes. This is an excellent opportunity to show off your little one's Halloween costume and maybe even win a prize!
And be sure to visit the Adirondack Carousel for the Scarousel Bash. This free community Halloween Party will be held from 3 to 5 pm. Enjoy free carousel rides, balloon animals, and refreshments courtesy of Hyde Fuel. The Adirondack Carousel is a beautiful antique carousel popular with Lil’ ADKers and adults alike.
