Raquette River Brewing Oktoberfest Weekend

Visit Tupper Lake October 11-13, 2024, for one of the Adirondacks’ best fall beer festivals.

We can’t think of a better place to celebrate great Adirondack beers and ales and the splendid Adirondack fall foliage season than in Tupper Lake at Raquette River Brewery in the Tri-Lakes and High Peaks region of the Adirondacks.

Starting October 11 to 13, 2024, Raquette River Brewing will host a three-day series of festivities, events and family fun. Entry is free for everyone.

Raquette River Brewing offers a limited beer release to make this fall event even more special.

What’s that you ask? Limited beer releases are small-batch beers that are not available year-round and are often brewed once and only available once.

Limited releases are a big deal for dedicated beerologists or beer devotees.

Some of the other terrific things you can expect at Raquette River Brewing Company’s Oktoberfest are:

• Live Music

• Delicious food from six food trucks — we were just there and can vouch about the quality of the food being offered by great vendors

• Great coffee from Perk and Pine

• Entertainment for the whole family — including face painting, balloon animals, and more

• Unicorn hair — okay, we have no idea what that is, but it sounds intriguing

Each day of Oktoberfest features new and fun events.

Friday, October 11 — 11 am to 9 pm — Oktoberfest Opener

Saturday, October 12 — 11 am to 9 pm

Raquette River acknowledges that this is typically the busiest day of their annual Oktoberfest. Admission is still free for everyone, but they highly recommend purchasing tokens at the entrance to make ordering and receiving your beverages more efficient. And don’t forget to tip!

At any event where alcohol is served, please attend with a Designated Driver (DD) or plan safe travel home ahead of time.

If you’re not from the area, it’s best not to rely on or expect a taxi service (we couldn’t find one when we Googled it). And don’t even think about ordering UBER or Lyft.
