Jazz in the Adirondacks: Tannery Pond Center Presents the North Country Jazz Project
The North Country Jazz Project is an 18-piece big band directed by David Hosley. They will perform at North Creek’s Tannery Pond Center on December 18, 2023, at 7:30 pm.
The group includes saxes, trumpets, trombones, and a rhythm section. They perform big band music from the libraries of Buddy Rich, Count Basie, Maynard Ferguson, Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington, Glen Miller, Stan Kenton, and Woody Herman, as well as more recent jazz orchestra composers such as Alan Baylock, Chuck Mangione, and Sammy Nestico. The band has been together for ten years and has many loyal followers.
Tickets: $15 in advance, $20 Day of Concert. The concert is free for youth 18 and younger.
