Something to Crow About: Martha’s Dandee Creme Opens
It’s the 2024 Opening Day for Martha’s delicious ice cream drive-in in Lake George.
Legions of fans from around the ADK and parts outside the Blue Line will be lining up on Thursday, March 16, for the season’s first taste of delectable ice cream from this venerable ADK institution. For over 75 years, Martha’s Drive-In has been churning out ice cream deliciousness for generations.
Martha's Dandee Creme opening means summer can't be far behind for many ADKers, especially those in the Lake George region. And while we love all four seasons in the Adirondacks, we also love tasty ice cream.
Martha’s team of over 60 dedicated employees is ready to serve their famous made-fresh-daily ice cream. They also produce amazing sundaes, floats, banana splits, cones, cakes, and signature Martha’s Dandee Cremewiches.
Of course, their Flurries, Slush Puppies, and Hawaiian Shaved Ice are all back for the season. Make it a complete meal with Martha’s Grill items, including burgers, loaded fries, and more.
New in 2024, Martha’s added two service windows on the ice cream side so that their staff can serve customers even more efficiently.
For the latest information on hours and to download their calendar of flavors, visit Martha’s website or Facebook page.
