Long Lake Ice Fishing Derby & Kids Fishing Contest 2025

Long Lake’s annual Ice Fishing Derby is an all ages event.

Join the Long Lake Fish and Game Club for a day of winter fun. They proudly host their Annual Ice Fishing Derby and an exciting Kids Fishing Contest. Set your calendars for Saturday, February 8, 2025, and prepare for a thrilling outdoor adventure from 6 am to 3 pm.

Lake Trout.

Participants will have the fantastic opportunity to fish in the pristine waters of Long Lake or the picturesque Lake Eaton, vying for the chance to win enticing cash prizes.

Cast your lines for the chance to reel in delicious trout and elusive landlocked salmon from the depths of Lake Eaton, or go for the thrill of catching pike from the expansive Long Lake. Enjoy the camaraderie, competition, and beauty of winter fishing.

Schedule of events and other key facts.

6 to 7 am | Registration at Long Lake Geiger Arena, Mt. Sabattis 6 Pavilion Lane

7 am | Lines In and Weigh in Station Open at the Town Beach, 1258 Main Street, Long Lake.

Late Registration also takes place at the Town Beach.

3 pm | Final Weigh-in Long Lake Town Beach

3:30 pm | Awards Ceremony at the Long Lake Diner, 1161 Main Street. You must be present to win.

Registration fee is $25 per person, while children 16 and under can enter for free.
