Artwork Reflecting the Beauty of Adirondack Skies
Meg Bernstein’s paintings featured at the Adirondack Artists Guild in Saranac Lake showcase the view from her Lake Kiwassa home.
Meg Bernstein's "Kiwassa Skies" exhibit will be showcased at the Adirondack Artists Guild in Saranac Lake in November. The exhibit opens with a reception on Friday, November 3 from 5 to 8 pm, and will run through November 28.
Bernstein has been a close observer of the landscape and skies from her home on Kiwassa Lake for the past few years while dealing with health issues. She says she was inspired by the constantly changing colors of the sky, ranging from blues to oranges, pinks, yellows, and greens.
The views she experienced provided limitless inspiration for her artwork. The sunrises provided thrilling vistas as the atmosphere moved and flowed, creating an ever-evolving tableau. Even on a gray day, patches of subtle color energized her.
