Indian Lake Theater presents “Gladiator II,” a film directed by Ridley Scott, who directed the original “Gladiator,” along with “Thelma & Lousie,” “Blade Runner,” and “The Martian.”
The film features an impressive cast, including Paul Mescal, Denzel Washington, Pedro Pascal, and Connie Nielsen.
Years after witnessing Maximus's death at his uncle's hands, Lucius must enter the Colosseum after the mighty emperors of Rome conquer his home. With rage in his heart and the empire's future at stake, he looks to the past for the strength and honor needed to restore Rome's glory to its people.
From legendary director Ridley Scott, Gladiator II continues the epic saga of power, intrigue, and vengeance set in Ancient Rome.

According to Rottentomatoes.com, “Echoing its predecessor while upping the bloodsport and camp, Gladiator II is an action extravaganza that derives much of its strength and honor from Denzel Washington's scene-stealing performance.”

“Gladiator II” received several award nominations and wins, including Best Supporting Actor at the Critics Choice Awards and the Harold Lloyd Award at the Advanced Imaging Society Awards.
Nominations include Golden Globe Awards for Cinematic and Box Office Achievement and Best Supporting Actor for Denzel Washington.
The BAFTA Awards include a long list of nominations in several categories, including Best Supporting Actor for Denzel Washington.
