Andrew Weatherhead Headlines Poetry Reading at Adirondack Center for Writing in Saranac Lake.
The Adirondack Center for Writing’s Barkreaders series features Andrew Weatherhead on January 17, 2024, in Saranac Lake.
Barkreaders allows local writers and readers to hear from and connect with new authors. Weatherhead, a poet and collage artist residing in Glens Falls, will read from his latest book of poems, “Fudge.” In addition, Weatherhead will present a selection of his collages alongside his reading.
Weatherhead will read from his newest book of poems, Fudge, called “terse, funny, stupid, stupid-brilliant.” Afterward, ACW will host an open mic where anyone can share up to five minutes of writing at the mic. There will be a book sale and signing following the reading.
Andrew Weatherhead was born in Chicago, Illinois. He is the author of three previous books of poetry – “$50,000” (cited by Publishers Weekly as an Indie Gem), “TODD,” and “Cats and Dogs”.
