North Country Christmas in Ticonderoga

Kick off the holiday season with the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce, coordinating with area businesses and organizations during the 15th Annual Ticonderoga Area North Country Christmas Celebration.

The celebration commences with Small Business Saturday on November 30, following the Thanksgiving holiday, and continues until December 8, 2024.

An exciting schedule of festive events in the Adirondacks.

The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce and participating area businesses have planned various events and celebrations for several weeks.

Saturday, November 30

• Specials and promotions at local businesses and organizations

• Look for #ShopSmall HERE signs at participating businesses and organizations

Sunday, December 1

• Rockin' Tree Lighting With DJ Jazzy Jake at the Ticonderoga Community Building at 5:30 pm

  • Join in the fun for the tree lighting, holiday music, a campfire, and more

  • Lil’ ADKers can get pictures taken with Santa next to the tree

  • The Silver Bay YMCA Teen Center will provide cookies and hot chocolate

• Holiday Hay Rides at the Ticonderoga Heritage Museum, 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm, sponsored by the Sawyer Family

Monday, December 2

• Santa's Magical Mailbox Opens at the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce at 2 pm, sponsored by Ti Automotive.

  • Be sure to include your return address so Santa can respond to you! 

  • All letters must be mailed by December 13.

Tuesday, December 3

• It's the Spirit of Christmas Children's Program at Black Watch Memorial Library at 6 pm.

  • A reading of “It's the Spirit of Christmas, Peaches” by the author Shaundra Bartlett

  • After the story, kids will be given two small tote bags to color and fill with Christmas items - one for them, one for a friend

Wednesday, December 4

• Crown Point Community Tree Lighting at Veterans Memorial Park at 5 pm

  • Complimentary cookies and hot chocolate will be available

• Christmas Trivia Night at War Cannon Spirits at 6:30 pm

Thursday, December 5

• 4th of July in December Chicken BBQ at Knights of Columbus at 4 pm until sold out

Friday, December 6

• Holiday Shopping & Dining Night - participating businesses open until 8 pm

• Holiday Farmers Market at the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce from 5 pm to 8 pm

• Drop, Shop & Dine at Punky Noodles from 5 pm to 8 pm

• Parade of Lights in Ticonderoga Business District from 6 pm to 7:30 pm. Sponsored by Ticonderoga Fire Department

• Ti Heritage Museum & Ti Arts Holiday Gift Shoppe at Ticonderoga Arts Gallery, 10 am to 8 pm

Saturday, December 7

• Breakfast With Santa at the Ticonderoga Elks Lodge, 8 am to 11 am

  • Breakfast, picture with Santa, cookie decorating, hot cocoa bar, Rudolph games, table activities

  • Free with donation

• Tromblee's Greenhouse & Gift Shop Open House, 10 am to 4 pm

• Holiday Paint & Sip at War Cannon Spirits at 6 pm

Sunday, December 8

• Breakfast With Santa at Seymour's Restaurant, 10 am & 12 pm

• Festival of Trees Open House & Reception at the Hancock House, 1 pm to 3 pm
