Sharon, a 50-something empty-nester who recently divorced, decides to advertise for a roommate to help offset expenses. However, when Robyn responds to her ad, Sharon realizes her new roommate is not exactly what she expected.
Despite this, their friendship blossoms and both women undergo personal transformation while grappling with issues of identity, love, and companionship. "The Roommate" is a moving and humorous tale that explores the power of human connection.
